The Headteacher’s Values Award was presented to Florence Hall and James Roberts, in Year 13.

Florence and James received a joint nomination from Ms Richardson, Miss Weston and Mr Hedley, who wrote:

“We would like to nominate Florence Hall and James Roberts for their considerable contribution to the School and College to date in their roles of Headgirl and Headboy.  They have shown such maturity, delivered excellent speeches at the two Open Evenings at the start of the year and acted like two additional members of staff.  The two of them work extremely well together presenting not only a united front but a warm and genuine one too.

“Both Florence and James have also represented the school on the Arete Learning Trust student leadership group.  This is such an important piece of work as it marks the start of student leadership work across the trust and it is so important this is done well.  Needless to say they have completed this task in an exemplary fashion and Mr Crane, our CEO frequently comments on the positive impact they have on the group.  Finally, both Florence and James have received offers from Oxford University this week and had put in significant preparation work in advance of this.”
