Headteacher’s Values Award Winner

The Headteacher’s Values Award was presented to Carl Harris, in Year 11. Carl was nominated by Ms Johnson who wrote: “Carl has made an outstanding start to Year 11. He arrives at every lesson with such a positive attitude and I know he wants to do his best. He is always so willing to contribute to oral activities and really helps to keep the lesson moving forward.

“He likes the challenge of working things out for himself and shows real resilience, but will also ask for help when he needs it. He is equally determined to get the best score in the group in his MathsWatch Independent Learning tasks. Carl is an excellent role model – he has 26 Star Performers and is the first student in Year 11 to secure an apprenticeship.”
