The Headteacher’s Values Award was presented to Theodora Moumtzis, in Year 11. Theodora was nominated by Dr Scott who wrote:

“I’d like to nominate Theodora as she is a student who stands out in that she actually embodies all of the school’s values and will leave a lasting impression on those who have had the privilege to teach her. Thea has excelled academically, despite not using English as her first language, and continues to overcome this obstacle with determination and sheer hard work which is credit to her resilience and positivity. Thea has always treated staff and peers with the utmost respect, she has a kind word for everyone and shows a willingness to help wherever she can.

“Thea has recently been promoted to Sergeant at RAF Air Training Corps and this is no surprise as her leadership skills and readiness to help and support the younger members at the Air Training Corps is unfailing and valued by all. Thea has a drive and willingness to succeed both in and out of school, and on Sunday brought home medals from the Wing Athletics held at Hull Costello Stadium, even in events in which she has had no prior experience. This ‘have-a-go’ attitude is testimony to her drive and commitment and I am sure she will go on to excel further. I wish her every success and happiness in the future.”
