Headteacher’s Values Award winner

The Headteacher’s Values Award was presented to Isaac Tate, in Year 8.

Isaac was nominated by Mr Beresford, who wrote: “I would like to nominate Isaac Tate for the Headteacher’s Values Award for showing Respect. Isaac came into my cover lesson on Monday with a distinctly different haircut than I had previously seen. Isaac explained that he decided to shave his head in support of one of his team mate’s sisters, who has been diagnosed with leukaemia.

“It was an inspiring, respectful action that deserves recognition. Isaac is a student who always looks out for others and works hard for others, and here he has gone above and beyond in order to support someone close to him. This is something I believe deserves recognition and fits perfectly within the school values.”

Isaac and his friends are fundraising for the Little Princess Trust – if you would like to support them you can donate here.
