The Headteacher’s Values Award was presented to Leo Vogel, in Year 11.
Leo was nominated by Mr Lunn, who wrote: “Leo has in previous years been in our lower sets for Maths. However, he became clear in his ambition to do A-level Maths and he has shown great determination to move up the sets into Set 2. He has persistently worked on his Mathswatch and on-line past papers, and has been extremely proactive in seeking help and advice. He has recently taken his PPE in Maths and he gained a high Grade 6 using conservative grade boundaries.
“We are very optimistic for a Grade 7 (or above) for the summer but thought it worth nominating Leo at this earlier stage on account of his amazing commitment.”
