The Headteacher’s Values Award was presented to Isaac Ulunasobo, in Year 8.
Isaac was nominated by Mr Randall, who wrote: “Last week Isaac independently looked after a new student, from a different tutor group, who was clearly very nervous about his first day at Richmond School. As soon as Isaac saw the student lining up, he approached him and introduced himself, taking him to his other lessons for the rest of the day, all without being asked to do so. The next morning at muster, Isaac went over to the other student to make sure he was okay and knew where he was going after tutor. I was really impressed by how Isaac (a student I have not come across before) had looked after his fellow classmate, showing the school values of Respect and Independence as he took it upon himself to introduce himself and make sure the new student was happy and had a friendly face around school.”
