Headteacher’s message

I would like to express my sincere thanks to all students for their determination over the last half-term. My first set of Year 7 interviews have really put a smile on my face. Students have shared with me their views on their online learning, what helps them, how we can make things better, what they have been doing in their spare time and what they are looking forward to starting again, once restrictions are eased. We have reflected back on their first term and I have been delighted to hear the students talking about their favourite lessons, their new friends and how they appreciated the environment in secondary school.

My sincere thanks also go to you, their parents and carers, for working with us to maintain a really strong work ethic for all. Have a great half term and I look forward to the onset of spring, lighter evenings and, most importantly, the return of students to school and college in the not too distant future.
