Headteacher’s CREDIT Values Award winner

The Headteacher’s Values Award was presented to Bohdan, in Year 7.
Bohdan was nominated by Mrs Edwards-Bell who wrote: Bohdan is from the Ukraine. He is currently learning English, and German is also brand new to him. In our German lesson today, he not only volunteered several answers in English, but translated a whole paragraph of German into English out loud for the class – both Bohdan’s classmates and I were really impressed by his determination to participate fully in the lesson despite having to process three languages at once!”
We are most grateful to Tima, in Year 9 (who is also from the Ukraine), for being Bohdan’s interpreter when Mrs Potter presented the award to him and explained why he had received it.
