HEADTEACHER’S CREDIT VALUES AWARD WINNERS

The Headteacher’s CREDIT Values Award was presented to Tima and Pietro in Year 9.
Tima and Pietro were nominated by Miss Spittlehouse who wrote: “I would like to nominate Tima and Pietro in my tutor group (9CSP) as both boys are always demonstrating our school CREDIT values and anyone who has the absolute pleasure of teaching these boys will know that they radiate positivity, joy and hard work.
“When we found out in 9CSP that we were to have a new student joining us from Ukraine, Pietro immediately volunteered to help and was so enthusiastic to be able to show the pupil how brilliant our school is. Pietro did an amazing job at showing Tima round, making him feel welcome and was a constant friendly face and he even took him along to swimming and football club to introduce him to the community too.
“Since then, Pietro and Tima have become inseparable and they are glowing examples for overcoming adversity and finding friendship in an unlikely way. There isn’t a day that goes by where the boys don’t bring a smile to everyone’s face, making us laugh with their cheeky double act. The boys are both fantastic athletes, representing our school and county at high levels in swimming and football and are true advocates for hard work paying off. I am so proud to be their tutor and the achievements they have made in their school journey so far.”
