The Headteacher’s CREDIT Values Award was presented to Lee, in Year 10.

Lee was nominated by Mr Birdsall who said: “I would like to nominate Lee  for the Headteachers CREDIT Values Award for excellence and determination. Lee is in my Year 10 GCSE group and I am thoroughly impressed with his work ethic in lessons and the excellent progress he is making. The GCSE Drama written paper is a tough paper to crack and Lee works efficiently and effectively from the minute he walks into lessons up to the minute he leaves. Lee’s understanding of the theoretical knowledge needed for the paper and the use of subject specific terminology has come a long way since we started in September. Lee completes all his independent learning and really gives it his best efforts. His effort and resilience in completing work when tasks are hard are impressive. It is a pleasure to watch Lee progress each lesson and see his confidence and participation increase week by week.

“We took Lee and the rest of the Key Stage Four cohort to watch our chosen set text of Blood Brothers at York Opera House and he was fully immersed and on the edge of his seat; it was heart-warming to see him fully engaging in live theatre. Keep up the great work Lee and you will certainly do well in your GCSE course.”
