GREAT EFFORT BY FIRE CADETS AT CHARITY CAR WASH

05 April 2022  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in:

We are most impressed by the efforts of Fire Cadets Charlotte, Sophie, Josh, Leo, Raffy and Liam who gave up their time to wash cars for charity at the weekend.  Hosted at Richmond School, the event was organised by Richmond Fire Station and the hardy volunteers helped to raise almost £900. The donations will be shared between the Ukranian Aid Appeal, a local charity supporting underprivileged children in the area and The Fire Fighters’ Charity, which supports the mental and physical needs of serving and retired members of the UK fire service and their families.

John Hancock, Crew Manager Richmond Fire Station, said: “It was another fantastic effort by the cadets and all those who had their car washed, despite it snowing at some points!”
