I am a Richmond girl and feel very lucky to live and work locally. I have worked in education for nearly thirty years. My first teaching post was at Richmond School followed by Egglescliffe School in Stockton where I remained for 19 years and taught food technology, textiles and IT as well as holding the position as Head of House until I became a Mum and started working part time.
I am currently the school librarian at Risedale School in Hipswell. My focus is to provide our young people with a safe, creative and engaging environment to learn, explore and grow.
I feel indebted to Richmond School for supporting me in my first year of teaching and latterly for teaching and nurturing my two boys.
I am delighted to, once again be a part of this very special school.
