After a year’s break our legendary school production is back! The build-up of excitement, from both staff and students, about the return of our school show was overwhelming. What a launch we had on 16th September, when 250+ students flocked to the Clark Hall to hear the reveal of Richmond School’s worst-kept secret. This academic year’s musical production will be Sondheim’s well-known ‘West Side Story’. The atmosphere and buzz around the reveal was electric and students have already started workshops towards their auditions. After a year’s break our legendary school production is back! Stephen Birdsall, who will co-direct the show, said: “I have never seen so many students from all art disciplines be interested in taking part in a production. It was breath-taking to see the students filling the hall. We are looking forward to seeing what talent emerges from our workshops when we cast towards Christmas.” More information will be revealed at a later date, with ticket prices and dates, so please look out for that!
