Get creative in our Christmas card competition
We are delighted to launch our competition for students across all year groups to create a Christmas design which may be selected for the Richmond School Christmas card. Once again, we are thrilled that Cllr Clive World, Chairman of Richmondshire District Council, has asked if a student could design his official Christmas card too. A large number of students will also be able to see their artwork showcased in the community for members of the public to admire and enjoy, such as at the Town Hall, the Library, the Georgian Theatre Royal, St Mary’s Church and Tesco. In addition, a selection of designs will also be used to create Christmas cards to send to the residents and staff at local care homes in Richmond.
Please click HERE for the guidelines on the picture size, materials to use and where students should leave their designs. The closing date for entries is 2nd November.
We were blown away with the exceptional artwork that our talented students created last year so we can’t wait to see this year’s portfolio of designs. Last year, Connie Lord’s stunning reindeer was chosen for our official card, with Elsa Wright’s beautiful Robin selected by Cllr Lord.
