Get active after school!

Our PE staff have done a wonderful job in arranging sports clubs after school for each year group. Students can stay back and take part in football, hockey, running, walking, badminton and fitness. They will stay in their year group superbubbles. We are reviewing our activities on a half-termly basis and hope to review and update our offer as guidance allows.
We have launched a campaign for Richmond School students to meet the World Health Organisation’s recommendation of 60 minutes of physical activity a day, 7 days a week. This includes PE and Dance lessons as well as after- school activities so we are encouraging as many of our students as possible to attend the clubs and asking parents to encourage their children to be as active as possible at home on a regular basis
Timetables have been emailed home to parents and carers. There is no need to book, students can turn up on the night and give their name and tutor group to the teacher in charge of their activity who will keep a register. The days for each year group are:
• Year 7 – Tuesday
• Year 8 – Wednesday
• Year 9 – Monday
• Year 10 – Friday (week 1 only)
• Year 11 – Friday (week 2 only)
