GEOGRAPHERS ENJOY HUMAN FIELDWORK VISIT TO YORK
Our Year 11 Geographers visited York city centre to undertake their human fieldwork in preparation for their summer exam. The students investigated whether York and its outlying suburbs fit with the Burgess Model. Their day was spent walking a transect route from New Earswick into the City Centre investigating the environmental quality, land use, traffic count and pedestrianisation usage along the way.
As always, the students were a credit to Richmond School and Sixth Form College and they never once complained about the cold weather.
