GCSE DANCE STUDENTS WORK WITH PROFESSIONAL DANCE COMPANY

The Dance department had the pleasure of inviting the company James Cousins to explore the professional workshop Within Her Eyes. This work is currently being studied on the GCSE specification and was a great opportunity for Year 10 and 11 Dance students to gain an in-depth understanding of the work.
The students were welcomed with a technical warm up and then explored lots of different contact ideas. They were pushed physically as this required patience, strength and determination. It was a great experience for students to work with professionals from London and gave an insight to the level of training needed when working in the industry.
