Five fantastic footballers selected to represent North Yorkshire

Following the recent county football trials, we are delighted to announce that five of our students have made this year’s squads. Please join us in congratulating: Maciej Nuprejczyk, Jacob Dunn, Sam Booth and Luke Wade, who will play for the Under 16s, and Harry Laviolette who is in the Under 18 team.
The standard was high with lots of nominations from schools across North Yorkshire and following two rounds of trials the numbers were narrowed down, selecting the best players from across the county to make up the squad.
Lesley Abbey, Lead Teacher for PE, said: “The standard is always extremely high as North Yorkshire is the largest county in the country. The boys have done extremely well and we wish them good luck in their forthcoming season competing for North Yorkshire.”
