FIRE FIGHTERS AND CADETS MAKE THE EVEREST CLIMB!

03 October 2022  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in:

A huge well done to the firefighters and cadets from Richmond Fire Station who have raised £582 after climbing 8,849m, the equivalent of Mount Everest, in a charity ladder climb. The hardy volunteers, which included some of our students, climbed the tower of Holy Trinity Church.  The money raised will be shared between a variety of charities including Yorkshire Air Ambulance and The Fire Fighters Charity.

Donations can still be made and would be gratefully received here.

The event was made possible through the support of North Yorkshire Scaffolders Ltd, who supplied the scaffolding, and Mac Plant who provided the fencing.
