The staff arrived early to the final staff briefing of 2019 to enjoy festive music and to find out how much the Save the Children raffle had raised. A brass quintet, made up of Mr Boyd, Mr Millman and three students, entertained with Christmas carols and then Thomas-Edward Atkinson was invited to lead the staff in singing ‘We wish you a merry Christmas’. The raffle raised £169 for Save the Children.

Following last week’s Christmas jumper day, several members of staff went a step further – look out for Santa’s helpers, who kindly served tea and coffee. Also, Stephen Parnaby, a cleaner at school, who continued his tradition of dressing up in a festive-themed outfit on the last day of term. This year, he went the extra mile and came to work as a Christmas tree. Can you spot which is the real tree?!
