Fantastic effort by fire cadets

15 October 2021  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in:

Richmond Fire Station’s recent charity car wash, hosted at Richmond School, was a huge success, raising over £850. Well done to our students Charlotte, Sophie, Liam, Raffy, Leo, Josh, Leo and Olivia, who are all in the fire cadets, and helped throughout the day, working alongside on and off-duty fire crews from Richmond Fire Station. The money raised will be shared between MS-UK, a national Multiple Sclerosis charity and The Fire Fighters’ Charity, which supports the mental and physical needs of serving and retired members of the UK fire service and their families.

Jon Hancock, Crew Manager at Richmond Fire Station, said: “The Fire Cadets were a massive help and we couldn’t have managed without them – it was non-stop all day.”
