Face covering guidance from Monday 17th May

A reminder that following the latest government advice, from 17th May, the Trust-wide position regarding the wearing of face coverings in school will change. The following guidance will now be in place:
Students are no longer required to wear face coverings in classrooms and communal areas but may do so if they wish.
Students should continue to wear face coverings when travelling on public transport or the school bus. All students travelling by bus should bring their own mask and resealable bag with them to school every day.
The safe wearing of face coverings necessitates: cleaning hands before and after touching face coverings (including to remove or put them on), safely storing face coverings in individual, sealable plastic bags between use and not touching the front of face coverings during use or when removing them.
Students are also encouraged to wash their hands regularly and will be expected to sanitise their hands before entering the building each morning.
Thank you in advance for your support with this and for your unfailing support to date.
