Fabulous football tournament for local primary schools

Richmond School organised and hosted football tournaments for Years 3 and 4 and Years 5 and 6. The pupils played their matches on the school’s new 3G pitch facility, the Dave Clark Arena, and the games were officiated by students from the Year 11 CTEC Sport course.

Thank you to Barton, Bolton-on-Swale, Brompton-on-Swale, Croft, Michael Syddall, Ravensworth and Richmond Methodist Schools for entering. The top two teams qualify for an area final later this month, where they play the top teams from the Bedale, Catterick and Wensleydale areas. Brompton-on-Swale and Michael Syddall qualified from the Year 3/4 tournament and Croft and Richmond Methodist qualified from the Y5/6 tournament.
