CHARLIE STORMS TO SUCCESS WITH DARLINGTON BASKETBALL TEAM

It is fantastic to hear of the success of Richmond School and Sixth Form College students in such a wide variety of sports, performing arts, academic activities and all sorts of other pursuits. This is definitely not just confined to school – our students and their families and supporters play a significant role out in the local community – what follows is another example of this:

Charlie Downes, Year 7 student at Richmond School plays basketball for Darlington Storm, a club that caters for all ages from 6 upwards. At their recent end of year presentation evening, Charlie won the Players’ Player Award and the Coaches MVP Award for his brilliant contributions to his team and club this season.

Well done to Charlie – we look forward to hearing more updates in the future!
