Charlie races to the top in North Yorkshire

Following his brilliant performance in the Area and County Cross Country Trials, Charlie Stephenson has excelled at the English Schools Cross Country Championship in Kent, finishing first for North Yorkshire and 17^th overall. This is a fabulous achievement.

Charlie has represented Richmond School and Sixth Form College since he started in Year 7 and this was his last race as he will be leaving Sixth Form College in the summer.  Sandra Johnson, Assistant Headteacher, said: “Charlie will be greatly missed from our cross country team. Over the years he has devoted so much of his time to training and competing and he should be incredibly proud of everything he has achieved. He has also been an excellent role-model for our younger students.”
