CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY MONTH

13 October 2022  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in:

We are pleased to share our recent assembly which informed students about Black History Month, using it as an opportunity to celebrate musicians, entrepreneurs and sports people – some of whom the students may or may not have heard of. You can view the assembly here.

Further to this, the assembly theme has allowed us to remind students of the cultural diversity we have at Richmond School and Sixth Form College and the importance of respecting everyone’s hobbies, interests, backgrounds and aspirations. Black History Month is a really important way for students to understand the importance of appreciating diversity and is something we are keen to promote.
