It’s National Apprenticeship week from 6th to 12th February and we have a host of resources and information for students to access from Student Services, as well as taking part in quizzes and tutor group information sessions. Due to Year 11 exams, we’ve moved our Apprenticeship assemblies to March, however our Year 12 and Year 13 students will be visited by various employers and providers during the week to talk all things Apprenticeships.

In the meantime, parents and carers who want to find out more about this fantastic pathway for their children, can access the Parents Guide to Apprenticeships here  and learn more about what they are and why they may be a good fit for their child. This guide includes information on:

• Types of apprenticeships
• Apprenticeship levels and educational routes
• The pros and cons of taking an apprenticeship
• Where to find an apprenticeship
• The top ten apprenticeship employers in England

Further information about apprenticeships can be found here.
