Careers update

Happy New Year from our careers team! As our Year 11s begin their final few months of school, we want to make sure parents, carers and students in all year groups know where they can access information and support. Here’s a few of the most helpful…

TALKING FUTURES: created to help you have informed and constructive conversations with your child about the different training and education pathways available to them.

ICLOUD AND NATIONAL CAREERS SERVICE: Websites such as icloud and National Careers Service are helpful for exploring careers and pathways.

UNIFROG: all students from Y7 have a personal log in, which gives access to a wealth of information on careers, qualifications, Apprenticeships and University.

FIND AN APPRENTICESHIP: Visit Find an apprenticeship to search and apply for vacancies and to find out more. There are also some great podcasts here.

OPEN DAYS AND EVENTS: these will be advertised on college websites, try to attend if you can to find out more about the courses and facilities available

Please contact Ruth Hamer, Careers Adviser on if you’d like to discuss careers support for your child. We strive to ensure every student is supported to make the decisions that are right for them, so please do get in touch with any questions.
