We recently shared information about Captain John Brydon, a former student, who was a doctor with 4th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment and gave his gas mask to one of his patients, and in doing so gave his life for him.
Sean Godfrey, local Historian, who forwarded the information about Captain Brydon to us, has sent us photographs of Captain Brydon’s grave, following a walking and research visit to the Battlefields. Thank you to Sean for kindly placing a cross on his grave with the message: ‘From your friends at Richmond School – RIP’.
