Calling Year 7 to 10 students to enter the German Half-term challenge!
Karneval / Fastnacht / Fasching is celebrated in the three main German Karneval towns of Düsseldorf, Köln and Mainz, as well as in lots of smaller towns and villages in southern Germany. A Maskenball (a masked ball) is one of the events that usually takes place as part of these celebrations each year.
Your task is to design and create a German themed carnival mask. You will need to sketch your initial design and label/explain it in English and then create your design out of any material you want . You will need to take photos of your finished creation.
The challenge is open to students in Years 7-10 in the Areté Learning Trust Schools in Richmond and Stokesley! The entries will be judged taking into account your year group.

Winners will be announced by: Monday 1st March
