BUSINESS STUDIES STUDENTS LEARN FROM AN EXPERT IN THE WORLD OF COMMERCE AND FASHION
Our Year 12 Business Studies had a wonderful surprise when the former Chief Operating Officer of world-leading fashion brand Canada Goose stepped into their classroom to talk to them! Paul Riddlestone, alumnus, returned home to Richmond after a dynamic and successful career in business that saw him rise up the promotion ladder to his final role as COO at Canada Goose.
Paul spent an hour talking to the students about his experiences in business and the path he took after completing his A-levels at Richmond School and Sixth Form College. Following his degree and a Masters in Business Management at the University of York, Paul worked for the Ministry of Defence before taking up various roles in operations and logistics at HA Sourcing Group, AMG and Avery Dennison, then moving overseas to work for Canada Goose.
Miss Hamer, Careers Advisor said: “It’s always wonderful for students to hear directly from those who have been successful in the area of work they are studying. We are really grateful to Paul for giving up his time to share his journey with our students. “
