BREAKING POINT DANCE CLUB LEAD SUPERB AFRICAN DANCE WORKSHOP

15 March 2023  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in: , ,

Members of our Breaking Point Boys Dance Club led a superb African Dance workshop for students from Trinity Academy Richmond Primary School. The Years 7, 8 and 12 students helped choregraph the routine and then passed on their experience.  Pupils from Years 4 to 6 enjoyed the workshop and it was most timely as they are currently learning about this in their lessons.

Lauren Straub, Dance Teacher, said: “The Breaking Point Boys Dance Club students did an amazing job. I was really impressed with them as they only had seven rehearsals to rehearse the movement and to learn how to teach – they all did this confidently. The primary school students really enjoyed the experience of performing alongside Breaking Point students and many said how much fun they had.”

For any boys in Years 7, 8 and  9 wishing to join Breaking Point Dance Club please come along to CF02 at 15:30 on a Tuesday from 15:30 to 16:30.
