Bags of Help from Tesco

Thank you to all those who supported us in our Tesco’s Bags of Help appeal. We are delighted to have been awarded £1,000 which will be used to transform the rather bland landscape at the back of the Sixth Form building to a useable green space. Mr Braham, Lead Teacher for Design & Technology, has embraced the project and we are thrilled that some of his GCSE students are helping us to realise our vision. As a keen supporter of our bid, Year 10 student Marcus Weston received the cheque on the school’s behalf. Thank you to all those who supported us in our Tesco’s Bags of Help appeal. Julie Sutherland, Tesco Community Champion at Catterick Garrison store, said: “We are delighted to support this great project at Richmond School. We are looking forward to working alongside students and helping them to transform this area into a space where students can enjoy free time and a break from their busy day. We are more than happy to support in the development of this project.”
