ARETÉ FAMILY QUIZ AT 7PM ON THURSDAY 7TH APRIL IN AID OF WORLD WILDLIFE FUND
A group of six Years 11 to 13 student leaders from all three of the Areté schools are working collaboratively on Trust-wide projects. Their first initiative is to host a family quiz at 7pm on Thursday 7th April and they have chosen the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) as their nominated charity. Please save the date and have your teams at the ready to test their wits on subjects such as: the Year 2021, answer smash, mountains/hills/moors, TV and Film and an International round.
The quiz is expected to last between 1 and 1/5 hours and will be hosted by Mr Brown of Northallerton School. The link to join the quiz is here.
We are encouraging students to work as teams with their families and we are sure it will be an enjoyable and fun evening for everyone.
We are suggesting a £1 donation per person taking part and these can be made here.
Laura Miller, a Year 13 student leader at Northallerton School, said: “As a group of student leaders we decided we wanted to raise some money for a charity that helps the environment, fitting with the recent Cop 26 meeting and we chose to support the WWF.
“I suggested a quiz as I thought it would be a fun, exciting way to raise some money that will help boost morale after this past year and to help join us together as a community as our first event that all schools across the Trust are participating in. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to work together with students from the other schools in the Trust.”
We are really looking forward to many students from Northallerton, Richmond and Stokesley Schools taking part with their families.
