Fran Summers was the guest of Burberry at the iconic Met Gala in New York.  Riccardo Tisci, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, created a bespoke dress for Fran, a stunningly beautiful long black silk design. The Met Gala is hosted at the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and is the most-exclusive invite and biggest event on the fashion fundraising calendar.  The 2019 event was no exception and was a feast of fantastic fashion, film, music, art and epic red carpet entrances, with many famous faces, including Lady Gaga, Anna Wintour, Harry Styles and Serena Williams. Fran, who left Richmond School in 2017, first learned about the Met Gala at a Bowes Museum exhibition, where she remembers seeing archive photographs of designers and models. Fran is rapidly becoming one of the top names in modelling, having represented Prada, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Burberry, to name but a few.
