ALICE IN WONDERLAND: MEET THE MARCH HARE

19 November 2022  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in:

We are really pleased to introduce Ellie, in Year 10, who is playing the March Hare.

What do you particularly like about your character?

I love how wacky and bizarre the March Hare is as well as how tea obsessed and crazy he can be! I feel like I relate quite closely to this character (especially being a Yorkshire Lass who loves a cuppa!) and I can play it with my fullest amount of energy.

What are you enjoying most about being part of Alice?

Since joining Alice, I have created bonds with the other cast members and had so much fun. It’s somewhere I can truly let my crazy, drama side show and feel supported and have confidence doing it!

What is your favourite moment of the show so far?

Well, I’ve got to say my favourite moment so far is probably when the White Rabbit enters for the first time, us bunny buddies always like to have a laugh about it together! But a very close second is the tea party scene! I’m looking forward to continuing to work on it.

Why should you buy a ticket to come and watch Alice and Wonderland?

Why should you buy a ticket? Why shouldn’t you?! I’ve sat in multiple times on scenes I’ve read and seen before and yet I still end up laughing every time! The performance is so light-hearted and funny. The cast are so friendly and comedic, it’s something you wouldn’t want to miss!

The show runs from 30th November to 2nd December. Tickets are priced £9 for adults, £7 for children (age 16 and under) or £30 for a family ticket (2x adults and 2xchildren). They are available here.
