Richmond School recently hosted a year 1-6 Quadkids Athletics competition. The event was incredibly popular with 16 local primary schools in attendance. Three separate competitions were run for pupils in years 1/2, years 3/4 and years 5/6. Twelve pupils made up a school team and all competed in 4 athletics events to earn points for their school team. The results are included with the pictures in this post.
The event was only made possible with the support of 52 young Sports Leaders from years 7-9 at Richmond School. This event took place on such a large scale that it heavily relied on the young leaders’ independence and maturity to lead each of the athletic disciplines. They performed outstandingly and provided a fun yet competitive experience for the 500 Primary pupils that took part.
Well done to our Sports Leaders, and thank you to all the Primary Schools who took part!
