The Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) and 16-19 Bursary Fund
The reduced Education Maintenance Allowance is now only available to eligible young people in Year 13. Please see the 16-19 Bursary information (document link below) for possible financial support. This document is currently for information only and will be updated later in the year for students joining the Sixth Form in September 2012.
Depending on family income, students can benefit from £10, £20 or £30 per week and two bonus payments to help them continue their education with us.
Applications must be returned to school by the end of September.
Please note that the County now charges for Sixth Formers to travel on school buses – the school also charges an amount for the Bedale bus.
