The Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)
The Education Maintenance Allowance is available to eligible young people on Sixth Form courses and is managed by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC).
Depending on family income, students can benefit from £10, £20 or £30 per week and two bonus payments to help them continue their education with us.
Please note that the County now charges for Sixth Formers to travel on school buses – the school also charges an amount for the Bedale bus.
