Bags of Help from Tesco

Thank you to all those who supported us in our Tesco’s Bags of Help appeal. We are delighted to have been awarded £1,000 which will be used to transform the rather bland landscape at the back of the Sixth Form building to a useable green space. Mr Braham, Lead Teacher for Design & Technology, has embraced the project and we are thrilled that some of his GCSE students are helping us to realise our vision. As a keen supporter of our bid, Year 10 student Marcus Weston received the cheque on the school’s behalf.

Julie Sutherland, Tesco Community Champion at Catterick Garrison store, said: "We are delighted to support this great project at Richmond School. We are looking forward to working alongside students and helping them to transform this area into a space where students can enjoy free time and a break from their busy day. We are more than happy to support in the development of this project."
